Who is injured in the Liga I? Which players are suspended in the L1? Find here the full list of the unavailable players from every team in the Liga I during the 2023/2024 season.

For every player, we try to provide you with a maximum of details available regarding its injury:

  • start date
  • estimated or confirmed end date
  • injury type (adductor, knee, pubalgia, fracture, virus, etc.)
  • severity of the injury
  • how many days and matches the player has missed

Almost the same applies to the suspensions:

  • start date
  • estimated or confirmed end date
  • the reason for the suspension (yellow card accumulation, red card, etc.)
  • the duration or how many matches the player is suspended

Various rules apply regarding suspensions

  • Whenever a player gets a straight red card or a second yellow card, he is generally suspended for the next match. The sanction can be reviewed by a committee and extended.
  • Oftentimes, competitions have a ruleset to sanction a player that has accumulated yellow cards over multiple matches. For example, in the English Premier League, a player who receives five yellow cards before the 19th match-week will be issued with a one-match ban. If a player has accumulated 10 yellow cards by match-week 32 they will be handed a two-match ban. A total of 15 yellow cards in the duration of the season will result in a three-match ban. Each ban is served in the Premier League only.
  • The reports from the referees can be examined to reduce or extend the ban.

You can find here a clear overview of who is unavailable for the coach's game sheet. These information are also available on the match page as well as the squad page of the teams.
